But it’s not as if I’ve been lazy.
Every other Tuesday my wife finishes later in work, so I’m on daddy duty. This involves me getting two buses to the mother in laws house, collecting the kids then either getting a bus or walking home. After looking at the bus timetable I decided it would be quicker for me to walk rather than getting the second bus….. I was right, it took me 20 minutes (I’m not sure of the exact distance) and I beat the bus with 5 minutes to spare!
After loading the kids into the twin buggy I then started walking home pushing nearly 5 stone in toddler weight ahead of me. Another 20 minute walk and we were home.
My underneath of my foot was really hurting when I got home. I think this is a minor case of ‘Plantar fasciitis‘. I’ve had this before in 2008 and sort treatment from a physio for it, but the only treatment is just a bunch of stretches, which eventually work away the pain. I did notice some discomfort whilst out running on Sunday but its nothing that’s going to stop me whilst I’m out running.
Giving blood tomorrow in work, so there wont be any running until 24 hours after that.
